MRLC Seminar Series Phrase One - "economics analysis method in the study of law "

In the morning of May 20, 2014 from 8 pm to 11 pm, MRLC  Seminar Series Phrase One - "economics analysis method in the study of law "- was successfully held in Room 405, Mingde News Building, Renmin University of China. associate professor Meng Yanbei of Renmin University law school hosted the seminar, professor Wu Hanhong from  Renmin University economics School, Professor Ye Guangliang from Renmin University Hanqing Advanced Research Institute of Economics and Finance, and Associate Professor Song Biao from Renmin University law school attend the seminar as invited guests. Renmin University law school 2013 economic Law Ph.D students and several post graduate students who are interested in this topic articipated in this seminar.  All participates had a discussion and communication on the topic "economics analysis method in the study of law ".

During the Seminar, associate professor Meng explained the reason and background of the seminar topic, the importance of research methods to academic research. Professor Wu Hanhong, and Professor Ye Guangliang introduced the common economic analysis method, fully analyzed the ones worth using for reference during the legal research.  Two professors provided the audience with advices about how to enhance the economic theory and use economic analysis method more standardized and more effective.  Associate professor Song Biao suggested that to do research in economic law require multidisciplinary knowledge background. He commented on the specific analysis method in legal research and analysis methods from other disciplines.

Professors also discussed with students issues like the comparative method of economic and legal research, the method of literature review and the quantitative analysis of Multiple values in legal research. Students presented at the seminar were recommended with the proper method of legal research.
